The Chairman of Kenya Ladies Golf Union (KLGU) Rosemary Olonde inspects a guard of honor at Thika Sports Club with the Girl Guide on duty to kick off a tree planting exercise with Kenya Girl Guides Association (KGGA).
The Girl Guides from Moi Primary School Thika were excited to be a part of this initiative and reminded us that “Trees are the lungs of the earth.”
This was an inaugural event as discussions begin between KLGU & KGGA to start a golf coaching program for the girl guides as the Union seeks to demystify the game of golf and identify talent in girls country-wide.
