About the Open Meeting 36 Holes Stroke Play Championship
KLGU Open Meeting 36 Holes Stroke Play
The KLGU Open Meeting – 36 Holes Stroke Play consists of the Leonard Bowl and Interclub Challenge Cup, and the Modera Bowl and Interclub Challenge Plate.
Leonard Bowl and Modera BowlMat
The Leonard Bowl is open to HCI 0.4 – 15.6 (Division A). The Modera Bowl is open to HCI 15.7 – 29 (Division B). Both are played over 36 holes. The trophies are presented to players returning the best scratch scores in Divisions A and B respectively. Both rounds have to be played in order to qualify for a prize.
These competitions qualify for the ‘Golfer of the Year’ (GOTY) Award.
Interclub Challenge Cup and Plate
These are run in conjunction with the Leonard and Modera Bowls. Each Lady Captain may nominate not more than FOUR players to play for her club.
The Challenge Cup is won by the two players in Division A returning the lowest aggregate scratch scores in the two stroke play rounds (an aggregate of four scores).
The Challenge Plate is won by the two players in Division B returning the lowest aggregate scratch scores in the two stroke play rounds (an aggregate of four scores).
